ChatURP Documentation#
ChatURP turns natural-language prompts into Universal Robots programs — .urp for PolyScope 5, .urpx for PolyScope X — and helps you diagnose robots from their support files.
What's in these docs#
| Section | What you'll find |
|---|---|
| Getting started | Go from a fresh account to your first downloaded program in about five minutes. |
| Chat | Tour the editor: conversations, prompts, the program tree, the installation and flowchart views, import and export. |
| Diagnostics | Drop a support file, see what happened on the robot, and ask for an AI analysis of its logs. |

Recent updates#
New features are announced inside the app: when you come back after a release, a "Welcome back" card on the Chat page lists what changed and links straight to it.
The most recent releases:
- PolyScope X — import, read, build and edit
.urpxprograms, the same way you already do with PolyScope 5. - AI analysis in Diagnostics — describe the problem, pick a time window and which logs to read, and get a verdict with the log events behind it. See Diagnostics.
- Faster generation — requests that used to take over two minutes now finish in well under one, and large multi-part requests that ran out of time now complete.
- Starter plan — a smaller paid tier alongside Pro. See Choosing a plan.
